What I like best about James Beard Award winning wine writer Alice Feiring is that you never quite know what she’s going to say next. Sure, she’s a lovely and gracious person. But she’s also got a quick wit, a tart tongue, and a low tolerance for bullshit. All fine qualities, in my opinion! I’m truly looking forward to hearing what La Feiring has to say about wine and life at Drink.Think. RSVP now if you want to hear what she has to say too!
Alice says she started this leg of her career in 1990, and since then has written for most major newspaper and glossies. Her articles and essays have appeared in The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Departures, Saveur, Food and Wine, and Wine & Spirits.
Her eponymous blog, Alicefeiring.com, has been a Beard nominee and cited by both Forbes and Food and Wine as amongst the top. Feiring’s The Battle for Wine and Love or How I Saved the World From Parkerization (Houghton Harcourt) was named as one of Wine & Spirits magazine’s top books of 2008.
