Featured writer: Nora Maynard

Mark your calendar – Tuesday, March 1 is the next Drink.Think reading event!

We’ve got a great line-up of writers slated to read from their work – and over the next few weeks, I’ll entice you with mini-biographies, starting this week with the talented Nora Maynard.

Clever Nora — among other things, Nora presents the insanely popular “Classic Cocktails, Classic Film” series at the Astor Center, and is the cocktails and spirits columnist for Apartment Therapy: The Kitchn.

But that’s not all:  Nora also has received fiction fellowships from The Artists’ Enclave at I-Park, the Millay Colony for the Arts, the Ragdale Foundation, the Ucross Foundation, and Blue Mountain Center, and is a winner of the Bronx Writers’ Center/Bronx Council on the Arts’ Chapter One Competition. She is at work on a novel. Visit her site at www.noramaynard.com (go ahead, you know you want to…).
