Featured Writer: Dania Rajendra

So you think we only include established authors in Drink.Think?  No way – this is also a showcase for up-and-coming Bright Young Things, like this week’s featured writer, Dania Rajendra.

Dania identifies herself as a writer, a culinary student, and a Brooklynite, not always in that order.

Her “short, true stories” have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail and in the anthologies Knitting Through It and Oil And Water…And Other Things That Don’t Mix. She is at work on an MFA from Spalding University in Louisville, KY and a certificate in culinary arts from Kingsborough Community College in furthest Brooklyn. Visit her website at daniarajendra.net.

I’m really looking forward to hearing what this promising young writer has to say. Join us on March 1 at Jimmy’s No. 43 if you’d like to hear as well!
